What to Expect
Whether you're celebrating a birthday, hosting a hens party, planning a team event, or simply gathering friends together, we're here to make your paint and sip experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.
Before the event
After submitting an booking request, we'll work together to finalise the details of your event, including the date, location, guest numbers, and painting selection. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, hosting a hens party, organising a corporate event, or gathering friends for a creative afternoon, we'll help create an exquisite experience tailored to your group.
You choose the venue, the date, and the painting from our online gallery, and we'll work with you to bring your event to life.
Once everything is confirmed, a deposit secures your booking and your date is locked in.
During the event
On the day, your host will arrive before the event to set up all painting equipment and prepare the space for your guests.
Each guest will receive their own painting kit, including a canvas, tabletop easel, apron, brushes, and access to a wide range of paint colours. Your host will also provide table coverings, cleaning supplies, spare painting kits (just in case!), a speaker and microphone system, and event photography.
To ensure everything runs smoothly, tables and chairs should be set up prior to the host's arrival. As our easels are tabletop easels, adequate table space is required for all guests.
Once everyone is settled in, your host will guide the group through the chosen painting step-by-step. No artistic experience is required, and guests are encouraged to paint at their own pace while enjoying the company of friends, family, or colleagues.
Please note that Josie's Paint and Sip does not provide food, beverages, or catering services. Refreshments can be organised by the event organiser or venue and enjoyed throughout the session.
After the event
At the end of the session, each guest will leave with their completed painting to take home and enjoy.
Once the painting session is finished, your host will pack away all equipment, remove table coverings, and leave the space tidy.
Any photographs taken during the event will be provided to the event organiser after the session, giving you and your guests a collection of memories to look back on.
